Wired Interview with Dr. Michael Bull

Wired has an interview with Dr. Michael Bull, who is, according to the New York Times: ""the world's leading—perhaps only—expert on the social impact of personal stereo devices." It's an interesting read about the social function of technology like the walkman and the iPod. I particularly liked this comment:

It's also very cinematic. The music allows you to construct narratives about what's going on. Or you use it to control thoughts. A lot of people don't like to be alone with their thoughts.
